PNICube - Association of the Italian Incubators and Academic Business Plan Competitions
Who we are In the year 2003 the Minister of Productive Activities financed the IUNet project, with the purpouse of creating a connection network among the academic enterpise incubators. In the same year the first edition of the National Award for Innovation (PNI) was launched: this is a sort of "Champions League" of the best enterprise projects born in university environment and it is organised by five Start Cups.
In order to take advantage of the experience given by IUNet and PNI, in 2004 PNICube was created. This association deals with technological transfer policies through creation of innovative enterprises in the world of the academic research. As indicated in the statute, PNICube aims to achieve the following goals:
